When was the last time you asked a neighbor for help?

It seems like we used to need neighbor's help for a cup of flour or some milk more often than we do today.
My neighbor just asked me “are you in town? I need your help! Can you go to my house and move the laundry from the washer to the dryer?”
That's easy. Of course I can. She sent a doorcode and two minutes later I sent a pic of the dryer running. I locked up and moved on with my day.
A couple of hours later she sent the backstory. Her son's sports uniform was sitting in the washing machine he needs to wear it this afternoon.
Getting help from neighbors makes our communities stronger and wealthier. We'll probably need stronger support as life keeps getting less affordable. Asking for simple favors is a skill worth building.
